Fotografía del artista Daniel Moyano trabajando en su taller.

Daniel Moyano (Valladolid, 1977)

Architect and visual artist. His trajectory traces a journey of conscious withdrawal towards the intimate. With a look initially formed in the rigor of architectural space, the luminous immediacy of watercolor and the narrative rhythm of the comic, his work has experienced a deep formal and emotional distillation.

Today, leaving behind urban figuration and the record of the outside world, his work goes into a material expressionism with a deep introspective burden. Away from cold academic discourses, his current creative process drinks from vulnerability, restlessness and a crude and enveloping melancholy. His painting no longer seeks the faithful representation of light or space, but the evocation of a state of mind through texture and emptiness, where it is the viewer who must make the work his own and complete the narration in silence.
